Registration for the event started bright at 10:30am at the Guest Services building outside the front gate

As we were walking towards Fire in the Hole, Santa walked across Main Street

As we were walking down towards Fire in the Hole it became very obvious how hard the park had been hit by the ice and snow storm.

Yes that truck is full of snow and ice removed from just this area.

Another truck over by the Saloon is getting filled up with removed snow and ice as well.

PowderKeg was down for the count that day.

However, Fire in the Hole was running strong. They also gave us special trips through the ride with the lights on -- that was really neat as you could see just how steep and deep those drops are. Anyone who says Fire in the Hole is not a coaster would have their mind changed after just one ride with the lights on.

WildFire was also closed today

ThuNderaTion was closed too, which I was a little surprised about.
