Photo Trip Reports 2008

This ride has byfar the best views of any B&M I have ridden

Did I mention that this was Coaster Christmas?

So after riding WildFire it was time to go eat -- hmmm... I bet this is the place.

After eating way too much good food, it was time for the presentations to start.

But first, a fellow ACEr -- I think she said her last name was Ettleton,
entertained us with her rendition of "Our (Coaster Christmas) Favorite Things"

Following the merry tune, Lisa Rau (SDC PR) and Jason (Head of SDC Properties)
gave us a follow up on what is going on in Branson next year. Basically, the
parking lot project is still a work in progress and will continue to be so through
the off-season. There has been no final say on what will become of Celebration City
however it will be closed in 2009 and the new concept should open in 2010.

Next up was Brandon Stanley (WOF PR) who filled us in on the progress of Prowler.
He also stated that he just got back from corporate and got to see the Prowler commercials
which are about finished. He stated the park will open April 18th in 2009, and that
there might be a season passholder exclusive "viewing" of Prowler before the season.

He also stated that while at corporate he learned that several old "Paramount"
parks are getting very big rides in the near future and that
those announcements would be very early this coming season. Other things included
Norsemann's will be redone and made into a "surf shop" and that the crate would
reappear in the new Prowler Plaza. He also showed some concept art that has not
been made public including a topography of the layout.

Next came the "give-a-ways" Schlitterbahn Kansas City was not able to send a rep
but sent some cool prizes anyway -- including a pass for 8 to any one of their parks.

Anita Valliant seemed happy with her door prize
Prowler brand White Zinfandel Wine

We both had a great time at Coaster Christmas 2008.
We both won some cool prizes -- including a nice trip.
Make plans NOW to come to Coaster Christmas 2009
The First Saturday in December.
