The reason everyone is here, is just past this bridge
They had us assemble together so we could hear more about the new additions for 2007
First up was Lisa Rau, Public Relations manager for Herschend Family Entertainment
Once Lisa was finished welcoming everyone and introducing the Marketing Staff for the Branson properties (Martha and Crystal) she welcomed Genesis to the mic.
Genesis was in charge of the back story for the entire Wilson's farm project and she explained to the media audience about how it is based on a real farm that was in the Ozark area.
Next came the park's General Manager Brad Thomas who talked excitedly about his park's new ride.
Once the main press conference was finished, the reps from the park conducted individual interviews.
We talked more with Genesis and received a lot of input about the thought process behind the back stories as well as some information about Mystery Mine, which she also worked on.
It was too cold at the press conference to ride the swing so most of the media came back later.
