LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL | Trip Report 07.03.09
It is BROADWAY SHOW season again at the fabulous Starlight Theatre.
The muscial started off with a great opening number "OMIGOD YOU GUYS!"
The break-up scene was quite humorous -- the song "SERIOUS" did a great job of telling the story here.
The lyrics to the song here cracked me up.
"Someone who wears black when nobody has died."
The LIVE "personal essay" Elle sends in for her Harvard application.
This scene is set off by the song "Harvard Variations" -- which was
very well done, the use of layering was awesome by the three singers.
Isn't the puppy cute! He has 2 understudies in case he cannot perform.

The UPS man makes a very hilarious entrance.
There is much rejoicing as Elle decides to go back to the courtroom after all.

The show was very well done -- the music is awesome, in fact I have
had a hard time turning it off since seeing the show. A great show
for the whole family to go see.
Starlight Theatre has a total of 5 Broadway Shows coming this year.
Definitely a great venue to watch live theatre.
