CAROWINDS | Trip Report 07.19.09

Welcome to the fifth park on my "DEEP SOUTH" trip
CAROWINDS!

I finally made it to this Cedar Fair park after all these years.

That means I only have CGA left to visit out of the CF parks now.

I started off our stay at the park with the coaster I've been
wanting to ride ever since it was built - Top Gu... um, Afterburn.

There are a lot more "Top Gun" decorations still at this ride
when you compare it to Kings Island's former Top Gun.

Was a little surprised how noisy the lift was on this coaster.

The vertical loop had massive G-forces, which was awesome.

This roll was pretty cool, it seemed like it was taken very slow.

Afterburn has a neat air time hill coming over the lift.

Brake run area and photo hut.
