Welcome to 2009 HAUNT VIP Party sponsored by Worlds of Fun.

The decorations in the VIP Party area were great... and the food was too.

Yeah, what you know about these? You've never seen one of these before.

One of the big new additions for this year's HAUNT is the Overlord's Awakening.

This guy lifts about 30 feet into the air and calls all of the monsters.

It's pretty impressive.

Then all the monsters from the Haunts come out and listen to him.

After the show the monsters parade to their different houses and scare zones.

The fog in the park is a lot heavier this year -- and there are a lot
of free roaming characters that are hiding in the fog.

In the Orient, the fog is extremely thick.
