The waterpark is completely inside California's Great America and makes
the park a 2-for-1 deal. I went here first since I figured it would get
quite busy later on in the day (and I was correct with that logic).
The waterfortress is called Jackaroo Landing.
Adults are allowed to play on the structure too, which is cool.
I'll be honest though, this slide complex was what I was most excited about.
The Down Under Thunder is an amazingly awesome waterslide.
After going up a half-pipe wall, you are sent on a run-out slide.
Another big slide on the complex is the Digeridoo Falls.
The third on this particular complex (the yellow & orange slide)
is the Tasmanian Typhoon. All three slides were a lot of fun.
Two slides on this complex, the Screamin' Wombat (dark blue slide)
and the Ripsnort Ridge (the light blue slide)
Boomerang Lagoon is the kiddie splash pool area.
Time to get you wave on.
There were some decent sized waves in this pool.
All right. Enough splashin' around. Let's take the swim stuff out to
the car and come back in and hit the actual park now.
