CALIFORNIA'S GREAT AMERICA | Trip Report 06.21.10
Welcome to the 2nd park on the itenerary -- California's Great America.
If you plan on going to this park with a Platinum Pass from another
park, save yourself the hassle and just go right to Guest Services and
hope you get a more competent employee than I did. Took 3 people to
figure out how to get me a one day pass for me to get into the park.
Well after finally getting all the sorted out, I made it into the park.
It was interesting to see how similar, yet different, this park is to the
other Great America in Chicago.
I started out the day by heading left to Top Gun... um, Flight Deck.
It was nice to see a lot of the themeing is still in place here,
unlike at Kings Island, where most of it has been removed.
Well let's take it for a ride, shall we?
Up the lift hill into a curving left drop.
Going into a vertical loop.
Exiting into a up hill helix.
Coming out of the helix.
