GILROY GARDENS | Trip Report 06.22.10

Welcome to Gilroy Gardens in Gilroy, California.

You can tell right away that this is a different type of park.

Seriously, we are not even into the main park and look at
how pretty the landscaping is.

The entrance to the park takes you on a long boardwalk through the trees.

I told you it was a long walkway.

Once into the main park, you are greeted with shops...
(yes, those are trees growing on it)

...and the park's carousel.

The rides in the area are themed to food.
This is the Strawberry Sundae

This is byfar the most original theme for a swinging ship.

They call this the Banana Split.
