OCEANS OF FUN | Trip Report 08.08.10
After one cycle of waves in Surf City Wavepool, I made our way to
Hurricane Falls, the park's only "big" slide -- and boy did it have a line.
From there I went around a couple times in the lazy river.
Love how you can get free tubes if you are pass holder now.
Next I spent most of the rest of my time at the park here in
Coconut Cove, which is a big activity pool with shot gun slides
lots of floating animals, and a water lily pad walk.
Also down in that area is the Aruba Tuba tube waterslide complex.
Aruba Tuba actually empties into Coconut Cove.
After leaving Coconut Cove I made our way to Monsoon,
and walked past Captain Kidd's Pirate Ship.
Monsoon is a shared ride between the two parks.
This Shoot-the-Chutes ride makes quite the splash with both parks,
and was the final ride of the day for me as it was hot and I was ready
to get on back home. Until next time Oceans...
