SILVER DOLLAR CITY - SPRING BREAK | Trip Report 03.19.10
Welcome back to Silver Dollar City and to their 50th Season.
Everyone around the front part of the park is decorations for the 50th.
Another 50 years banner hanging in the town square area.
The lattern decorations remind me a lot of Disney's 50th decorations.
They have more 50th decorations deeper in the city as well.
Our first ride of the day was Fire in the Hole, which has received
A LOT of off season work - including different scenes and other additions.
The best change, however, is the addition of a new Dalmatian puppy.
After lunch at the Rib House we caught a performance of the
Sons of the Silver Dollar at the Boatworks Theatre.
While walking to the Depot after the show, we caught a "Streetmosphere"
performance by the Frisco Barn. Nice to see these return to the park.
We finally made our way to the depot through the sea of humanity.
There was a lot of people at the park today.
