SILVER DOLLAR CITY | Trip Report 12.22.10

Welcome back to Silver Dollar City and An Old Time Christmas.

This is the last time you'll see the front gate looking like this.
After this month the "Celebration" will end. It's been an amazing year.

I brought Derrijk along this time.

AND a very rare appearance by both of my parents in an update.

Sorry, Dollywood, but SDC's Special Effects Tree is much more impressive.

We had a bit of time to kill before the rope drop, so we checked out
the Wilderness Church, which is located on the main square.

After the rope drop, we headed down Hill Street right to the Opera House.

Dicken's Christmas Carol proved once again to be amazing.

This was the first time several members of our party had seen the show
and they were blown away by it, to no surprise.

This show could honestly stand on its own outside the park.
I find it amazing that a show of this level is in a theme park.
