SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM | Trip Report 06.20.10

Well finally made it to Northern California. After a short drive from
Sacramento International Airport, I made it to my first park of the trip.

Welcome to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California.

I had been looking forward to visiting this park for some time now.

Unfortunately, on the day that I decided to visit the park, was also
the same day the park decided to "give away the gate" and allow a gazillion
people to come to the park for "free" -- oh well.

Well finally made it through the front gates. Time to ride something.

They have a very nice entrance fountain in the main plaza area.

Heading left, I walked past the entrance to the "SEA" section of the park.

All right, this park is already amazing. They have penguins. :D

First coaster of the day would be ROAR!

With the riding of this coaster, I am down to just 2 GCI coasters left
to conquer in the United States. Terminator and ROAR (SFA)
