PIER 39 | Trip Report 06.23.10
Now most tourists do not know that this cable car line exists.
Unlike that OTHER one (we'll show you in a bit) this one rarely has a wait.
At most you'll have to wait for one car if that.
I found this sculpture interesting. I think it said it was St. Francisco.
Here's the more "famous" of the two Cable Car Stops near the Wharf.
Expect at least a 2-3 hour wait here if you decide to use this stop.
I however decided that the other stop was a better use of my time.
Walking back to Pier 39.
Along the way back I stopped to view the famous landmark sign.
Near the sign you could tour a submarine
or this larger Navy ship.
They also had a 3-masted sailing ship docked in this area for tours.
When you are in California, you have to eat at In and Out. It's a rule.
Well that was fun, time to tour the Musée Mécanique
