LDC KANSAS CITY'S MINILAND | SPECIAL FEATURE 04.27.12

Welcome to a special encore report
featuring LDC Kansas City's Miniland.

Today we're going to take a closer look
at the models of this impressive display.

First is the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts.
One of the newest landmarks in Kansas City.

The architecture of the building has sort of a
Sydney Opera House feel to it.

Also in this area is a "working" boat on the
Missouri River which runs past the Kauffman Center.

The next area is Union Square, which is home to
Union Station and the WWI Museum.

First up is Union Station, which still has train
departures from it (and even here in mini form).

This is the National WWI Museum and the Liberty Tower.

At the base of the museum, a remote controlled car competition
has broken out and there are several people participating.

One last look at Union Square before moving on.
and yes that is a working fountain there.
