One of the most distinguishable thematic elements that has been
recently completed is this little steam boat that sits in the canal.

Walking on down to Tom Sawyer Landing, you can see some of the
other changes that have been done to the fort.

The new water troughs frame the new area quite nicely.

The stairs leading up into the fort are missing. I wonder
what the new configuration will be to get into the fort.

Hard to believe this structure has been closed for the good part
of two years. It will be nice to see it back open again this season.

A lot of activity going on over by the Carousel Barn.

Back up by the train depot, you can see the new fence that was installed
as well as looking over towards the River Blast area and seeing the exit
bridge from the island.

Another thematic addition is this riverboat smokestack.

Back on site at River Blast, you'll notice that the area will need
to be repaved once all construction work is finished.

One last peek into the area before we move on to other projects
going on around the park -- and there's a lot to cover.
