WORLDS OF FUN PARK UPDATE | Construction Report 04.23.11

The former Air Mail got a new theme/look and is now the Kite Eating Tree.
It is still awaiting its permanent fence to be installed.

Camp Bus got a new paint job, but is really the only "throw back" to the
old theme of the area with its queue and fence. Not sure if they'll stay or not.

Sally's Swing was set up, but there was no fence around it yet and was not open.

Charlie Brown's Windup looks great with its new colors.

The first (and only) of the new for 2011 rides to be open so far,
Woodstock's Whirly Birds. The backdrop scene will be installed this week.

Over the hill, Lucy's Tugboat is nearing completion and
should be open next weekend.

The lower portion of the Planet Snoopy still has a lot of work
to be done still. Closest to us is where Road Rally will be.

Looking up from the store, you can see that only the bare minimum
supports for the station are currently in place.

Back up top you can see Balloon Race in the distance. The concrete path
closest to us is the Road Rally and Peanuts 500 has not made an apperance yet.

Here you can see just how much work is still left on the station for
Rocket Express. Where the bobcats are is about where Peanuts 500 will go.

We'll keep you updated on the progress of the new area and
the other projects around the park this Spring.
