Bluegrass & BBQ (SDC)

Welcome back to SDC and to the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival.

A big part of this festival is the different Bluegrass acts that the park brings in.

They have them performing all over the park - like on the Gypsy Wagon Stage in Midtown.

Another group at Boatworks Theatre.

One of my favorite stops at this festival is the Bottleneck Bros. Sauce Shack

Here you can try out lots of different sauces.

The Frisco Barn is set up as America's Back Yard store.

Anything you could possibly need to BBQ is here.

Woodchips

Sauces

Other stuff.

The Red Gold Heritage Hall serves as the House of Barbeque during this festival.

First you go to a booth and order your food.

Here is what I got.

Then you find a place to sit and eat while they entertain you on the main stage in the Hall.

This is a tasty festival and worth a visit.

Coaster Mayhem II (WOF)

COASTER MAYHEM II

Welcome to Worlds of Fun and Coaster Mayhem 2007.

Morning ERT was on MAMBA

MAMBA was really delivering great rides this morning.

Everyone was able to get multiple rides on MAMBA during ERT.

Also on morning ERT was Boomerang.

It didn't get many takers though.

Waiting for lunch we rode the other coasters in the park.

This included the original wooden terror of the park - Timber Wolf.

Spinning Dragons was up next as we made our way to the lunch tent.

Lunch was held in Festahaus.

A Q&A session was held after everyone had enough to eat.

Some very cool give-a-ways were raffled off during the ceremony.

Evening ERT was held on PATRIOT and was a lot of fun.

Thanks for another great day at the park - Worlds of Fun!
