Adventure Bay

Welcome to Adventure Bay waterpark at the Adventureland Resort

Typhoon is a 2 person raft slide (you can see the green rafts being carried up) there on the left.  You start with a helix and then you are dropped into a larger rocker before going into another helix and out into the catch pool.

This complex features several slides.  Reef Racers (on the right) is a 6-lane mat racer slide.

The other two slides are body speed slides.  Patriot's Plunge (the red white and blue slide) features a double down and you actually get some air after that second hill.  Gangplank (green slide) is an immediate straight down and you get a lot of speed on it.

Shipwreck Shores is a secondary swim up bar.  Also in this area is a kiddie activity pool with water pad walk and obstacle course.

Also in this area is the Pirate Ship which features smaller slides and a splash pad

Breaker Beach Wave Pool is a double wave pool that has a more aggressive side and a less aggressive side.  The waves on both sides are pretty decent

The Sand Bar Pool is supposed to be the adult pool with a swim up bar.

The lazy river circles most of this part of the park. It is called Caribbean Cruiser

Here you can see that it goes all the way over to Typhoon and circles around the Sand Bar Pool.

This tube slide complex is called the Bermuda Quadrangle.  Green is an open air slide.  Purple is an enclosed slide.  Green/Blue is a Bullet Bowl slide. Orange/Yellow features 3 Rocker Pods.

Finally Kokomo Kove is the original attraction that started the waterpark.  This waterfortress features numerous smaller slides and lots of water obstacles.

Adventure Bay

Welcome to Adventure Bay, Adventureland's water park

Kokomo Kove is the park's giant water playfortress.  This was the original piece of the waterpark and then the rest grew from it

The Bermuda Quadrangle is a tower of 4 raft slides.  There is a topsy turvy (the orange and yellow slide - featuring small funnels), a bowl slide (the blue and green slide) and then the purple slide is almost completely in the dark and the green slide features both tunnel and open sections

Typhoon is a two-person wheelie raft slide.  There is a medium sized funnel halfway down

This complex features 2 body slides and the Reef Racer (down-hill head-first mat racer)

The two body slides include the Gang Plank (green and yellow) and the Pirates Plunge (red white and blue)

Breaker Beach Wave Pool (still don't understand why it isn't called Adventure Bay)

Finally there's the Caribbean Cruiser lazy river surrounding the Sand Bar Pool.

Adventure Bay

Welcome to Adventure Bay - Adventureland's water park

The first attraction you see is the original.  This is Kokomo Kove

This waterfortress was the original piece of the Adventure Bay expansion

Next is the Bermuda Quadrangle.  It features 4 tube slides.
Topsy Turvy, Bowl, Enclosed and Half Enclosed/Open.

Typhoon is a multi-person raft slide that has a medium top halfway through

Carribean Cruiser is the park's lazy river

It circles around the middle of the park

Here is more of the lazy river over on the Western side of the park

In the middle of the park (and encircled by the lazy river) is the Sand Bar Pool
Another look at the Sand Bar Pool area

Here you can see the Reef Racer (6-lane mat racer slides) and
the speed racers (Pirates Plunge - red/white/blue and Gangplank - green)

There is a large sunbathing area at the park of the park.
In the distance you can see the kiddie pool area

Breaker Beach Wave Pool has two different programs it runs.
One features gentle waves while the other has more intense waves

Adventure Bay is a great waterpark.  Though I feel that its popularity has
created a need for additional capacity.  Hopefully more slide can be added soon
