Pumpkins in the City (SDC)
Welcome to Pumpkins in the City
Most of this festival takes place in the Grand Expo area
The area just outside the Culinary School
The large pumpkin scarecrow just outside the Red Gold Heritage Hall
Owl totem pole by the Wave Carousel
A very large owl near the Electro Spin
The Grand Expo Gazebo
The bat totem received a lighting upgrade this year
The large spider on Royal Tea Party
Little spiders hanging out overhead
A large cat near the Galleon
Lots of smiling pumpkins near the Royal Tea Party queue line
A cat totem near the Elephants
This is what Pumpkin Plaza looks like at night
It's a little easier to see things though when it is still light outside
There is a professional photo booth this year ... and yes that is a costumed character pumpkin guy
The large inflatable pumpkins are back
Prince Ivan (DJ group) was entertaining during a dance party
This way out of the Pumpkin Plaza will lead you to the pumpkin pathway that exits near Boatworks Theatre
There a lots of different animals on display
Insects too
The campfire is probably my favorite on that pathway
The inside joke from this summer continues down by Mystic River Falls in the form of these shark pumpkins
The pumpkin crafters returned this season. This is the potter
Blown Glass
Time Traveler Ride Host
Love the pumpkins by Time Traveler
Baker
Besides the Pumpkin festivities, rides are open until park close (weather permitting) which allows for some awesome night rides on your favorite coasters. The Festival runs through Halloween
Harvest Festival (SDC)
Welcome to the Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City
There are some huge pumpkins just outside the Hospitality House
Keep an eye on that scarecrow.
Lots of pumpkin displays around the square
The new logo for the festival was on full dsiplay
The tree was pretty neat
Breast Cancer Awareness display
There were several crafters set up around the square, but not as many as normal due to Covid
The traditionals were there though
Stagecoach Journey, a new cowboy story show is being presented near the Corkscrew Pass
The Chuckwagon is back and is set up near the entrance to River Blast. The cowboy stuff is set up in the Carousel Barn nearby.
Spoken 4 was performing today
Later on Southern Raised performed on that same stage
Makers Market is set up in the Frisco Barn
I think it is supposed to be like a General Store or something like that
The pumpkin house
Barry Brown was giving pumpkin carving demonstrations
Nearby there was an amazing pumpkin carver working.
As much fun as the Harvest Festival is during the day, once the sun goes down the park really comes to life.
