Welcome to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

You never know who you will meet here

Seriously, you could meet anyone here

There are two major attractions here.  The first is Smuggler's Run

Here you actually board the Millennium Falcon

and then go on a mission where you actually pilot the ship

Make sure you come hungry when you visit, there are some major nom noms to try

Lots of cool places to shop as well

There are several recognizable ships here

Make sure you take your time to look around

The other major attraction here is Rise of the Resistance

More an experience than anything, you get thrust right into the storyline

Another ship you encounter along your trek on the ride

You get captured by the First Order

I have a bad feeeling about this

Heading to your cell for questioning

Just outside your cell

Luckily we escaped and now we can enjoy the beauty of this area at night

We always have a great time in Galaxy's Edge and we cannot wait for our next visit

Disney's Hollywood Studios - Star Wars Rise of the Resistance

 

Welcome to Rise of the Resistance.  This is next level of amusement park attractions

The Rebel base is hidden so into the cave system we go

You can use this map to plan out our attack (or escape)

BB8 appears to be in charge

Rey appears

Sounds like we are going to evacuate.  Outside to the ship

Poe is going to lead the escape with the help of BB8

Time to load

Even though we have a great captain.  We got trapped by the First Order

That's a lot of stormtroopers

Tie Fighter

Now we are headed into interrogation

One of many cells that they are putting the prisoners in

I got a bad feeling about this

We've been freed and now we are on a transport to get out of here

Not our dino.

Looks like this way is blocked by AT-ATs

Must move faster

Up on the bridge of the Star-Destroyer

Weaving our way through the canon room

Kylo Ren is like "not so fast"

We make our escape.

Such an awesome ride and experience.

Welcome to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios

This is the Black Spire Spaceport on the planet Batuu

The architecture definitely feels like it is from another planet

You really need to take your time in this land just to soak everything in

This is the market place

You'll find everything you never knew you needed here

Do you need a droid?  You can build one here

All sorts of land speeders here as well

On the outskirts of town you can see Resistance ships

Good thing the First Order hasn't spotted them

Occasionally you might spot a character or two from the saga

Rey was busy working on ships when we spotter her

The First Order has a large presence here in Black Spire

This cannot be good

Kylo Ren makes an appearance.  He doesn't seem to be in a very good mood today

This stand sells blue and green milk

We tried both.  The blue milk has a more berry taste and the green milk is more citrus.  Of the two, I think I preferred the blue milk more

Time for some food

The drink is a Tattoine Sunset.  The two entrees are both Ronto Raps

This is Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip with Roasted Vegetables Mashed Potatoes

One of the main attractions in the land is Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run

The queue line is fascinating.  There's lots of things to look at

It also gives you great views of the top of the Millennium Falcon

Here we are getting our orders for the upcoming flight

The famous game table on the Millennium Falcon - our advice is to let the Wookiee win

Heading to the cockpit

This is an interactive ride and each time you ride you will have a different experience based on who is riding with you (and their ability level)

This is definitely a magical place - we have one last attraction in this land to check out before we depart
