Six Flags St. Louis - Boo Fest

Welcome back to Six Flags St. Louis

It is officially "spooky season" at the park

During the day, the park celebrates Kids Boo Fest

A good majority of the fun can be found in Bugs Bunny National Park
*note that this area closes at 6pm when the freaks arrive*

The Bugs Bunny Train Station has been turned into Creepy Castle.
This is a "kid-friendly" haunted maze with black lights and creepy music

In the north part of Bugs Bunny National Park you can find Cornelius' Straw Maze.
This fun and not scary maze leads to a special treat from Cornelius the not-scary Scarecrow

Out the Empire Theater front landing you can find the Spooky Mooky Music Mayhem Dance Party with members of the Looney Tunes gang

Inside the Empire Theater you will find Monster Party

This family-friendly show features a science experiment gone wrong that eventually leads to the creation of the perfect Halloween candy treat

Over by the Axis Arcade you will find the entrance to The McBoogles Hayride

On the Hayride, you will pass by show scenes and hear the story "The McBoogles Go On A Picnic"

It is a fun little ride that goes into an area of the park that is not usually seen

There's a new reason to ride the train during BooFest

There is a new Train Capers show!
Halloween Hijinks.  Hops and Hootenany are trying to steal your candy

Spooky Town Trick-or-Treat Trail can be found near the arbor tunnels in DC Circle Plaza.  Here you can collect candy and trinkets while meeting friendly characters

Mid-afternoon, the park begins to transition to the darker side and more park entertainment comes online

On the Palace front porch you can find Deadman's Party
Join the heroine as she sings to escape a nightmare dance party

Inside the Palace you will find the long-running Love at First Fright

Celebrating more than 25 seasons, this show continues to pack in the crowd

This year's cast is pretty fun and it is definitely worth watching

New this year performing on the Steampunk Pumpkins Stage is Smashing Lanterns

This talented quartet puts a creepy spin on classic rock hits

Six Flags St. Louis - Boo Fest

Day time fun for the younger guests can be found at Boo Fest at Six Flags

On the steps of the Empire Theater you can find Spooky Mooky Mayhem - a dance party with the Looney Tunes gang

The McBoogles Family Hayride returns this year.  Two of the family members are out on the midway greeting pary guests

The entrance is a little hidden, you have to go through the Axis Chemicals Arcade

The hayride takes you into the backstage area of the park

You go past various scenes while a story is told over the wagon's speakers

The use of old Holiday in the Park decorations always makes me laugh

Inside the Empire Theater is the new Monster Party.  Experience a science experiment gone wrong which leads to making the perfect Halloween treat

Another fun day time attraction is Cornelius' Straw Maze where younger guests can collect candy from Cornelius the scarecrow

Boo Fest (SFSTL)

Lots of fun things for the younger guests to do during Boo Fest.
This is Cornelius's Straw Maze near Screamin' Eagle

The McBoogles Go On A Picnic Hayride can be found near Ninja

This is actually a lot of fun

Some fun scenes to drive by as on board audio tells the story

In the Empire Theatre is the Monster Party.

Boo Fest (SFSTL)

New this season is Boo Fest - a scare free day time event for the kids.
One of the new offerings is McBoogles Hayride

You board your hayride tractor behind the Joker Inc.

The tractor then takes you backstage for your adventure

I have to admit, it was a fun ride

They use the old McBoogle props that used to be along the Moon Cars ride during Fright Fest

But they have more room here, so the props are much more elaborate

Lots of old Fright Fest props being reused

It was a little jarring to see the marshmallow snowman from Holiday in the Park - but since they cancelled that event, why not use it

Bugs Bunny in his costume

Daffy and Tweety were also out in their costumes

River King Mine Train is only open during the day

Some fun decorations for Boo Fest

Finally, don't miss out on Cornelius' Straw Maze in Bugs Bunny National Park
