The Royal Caravan has entered International Plaza
The Royal Kickoff starts at 5pm on the stage in International Plaza
King Carl Nivale and Queen Cara Nivale welcome everyone to the festivities
Grand Carnivale is officially open for the evening
The Court Jesters entertain the audience with feats of skill
The Royal Drumline entertaining the crowd
The entire court comes back to kick of Mardi's Dance Party
Speaking of Mardi ... here he is
Royal Rhythms and the Powerhouse Band take center stage next
This is a very high energy show and a lot of fun to watch
Fast forward to immediately after the parade - it is time for the Royal Finale
Complete with fireworks
Grand Carnivale - Scavenger Hunt (WOF)
MARDI'S SCAVENGER HUNT
Mardi's Photo Scavenger Hunt is back again this year. You can visit the Carnivale Central tent for more details.
The attendant will instruct you to scan the QR code on Mardi's hand and a short video will tell you what you need to do in order to collect your prize.
Next you'll visit each of the different countries in Grand Carnivale. Make sure you snap a picture of each mascot you meet along the way.
This is Franz in Germany
Hugo in Spain
Suzette in France
Tanvi in India
Francesca in Italy
Bao in China
Once you have visited all 6 of the countries and snapped a photo of each of the mascots, return to the Carnival Central tent and show the attendant to receive your reward
The reward is a collection of 7 buttons featuring all of the mascots for Grand Carnivale. There is no purchase neccessary to participate in the Scavenger Hunt
