Halloween Haunt (WOF)

Welcome to Halloween HAUNT at Worlds of Fun - hope you got your Fright Lane Pass because the park is extremely busy today.

I got here just in time to see the Overlord do his thing.

I'm not sure that I enjoy the "HEXED" portion of the show where the two witches join him.

After the opening ceremony I headed to the Tivoli to watch Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic & Mayhem.

I'm not sure if there was any magic in the show, but there were definitely dancing girls.

Oh right - there was some magic.

But mainly there were girls.

Time to check out the mazes.  First for me was Blood on the Bayou.  Not big on scares but the sets are extremely elaborate and full of things to look at.  This is a big time maze.

CarnEVIL is supposed to be a scare zone but there really are not that many scares in here.

I think it is because the area is too wide open.

There were more prop screamsters than real screamsters in here.

Blood Shed was the next maze.  I think that this maze is more corny than anything.

Asylum Island still gets the award for most scares.  It isn't nearly as detailed as the other mazes but it makes up for it in jumps.

Chamber of Horrors is another very detailed maze.  There were next to no jumps in here though.

The Bone Yard is the best scare zone in the park.  The screamsters actually have places to hide.

Zombie High is another very elaborate maze.  Lots of things to look at in here.

The oldest maze is Lore of the Vampire.  I think it is ready to have an upgrade.

There was a dance party with monsters in Scandinavia this year.

This is really the "most wonderful time of the year" at Worlds of Fun.
