PROJECT 2027
The former observation deck for PowderKeg is completely gone now.
We have heard it will be back in a new form next season though.
Looking on down the hill from PowderKeg
Lots of tall footers have been installed on the hill next to the final lift of American Plunge
The area between Lumbercamp Falls and American Plunge's final drop has seen the most change from the end of last season
A giant rectangle footer is going in here.
Lots of footers over here. We're guessing this is going to be a "spaghetti bowl" of track with lots of curves in one area.
Here's a look at that rectangle footer from the other side
You can see a couple of big footers going in next to the American Plunge tunnel on up the hill
The footers near the entrance to the American Plunge tunnel
Looks like only the base is done here with how tall the rebar is. We are guessing that a round tube of cement will go on top still
Lots of equipment on this side of American Plunge's final lift
Lots of footers between American Plunge's final lift and WildFire
This area sure looks different now. Pathway and hardscaping done on what was a cement water holding area last season. You can even see the water is in the pond for American Plunge. The boarded off entrance is where boats will be added or taken off
Very interesting on how it appears this area will be "on park". Though I imagine a taller fence will be added at the back of this pond.
More footers have appeared just over the fence of the WildFire queue area next to the WildFire maintenance building
Electric tubes running down to a box where we will probably see a launch
Love how random this grove of trees looks in this barren construction area
A look back up where we started.
We have a feeling things are going to start moving very quickly now
