Epic Universe - Isle of Berk

Our first portal of the day is Isle of Berk - Home to "How to Train Your Dragon"

Walking in you are greeted by these two towering statues on a beautiful lake

The start attraction in this land is Hiccup's Winged Gliders

This launched coaster hugs the terrain and flies all over the land

We really enjoyed this ride and think it is comparable to coasters like Big Bear Mountain at Dollywood 

This is where the main restaurant is located in this area

Dragon Racer's Rally is a thrilling flat ride that allows riders to decide how crazy they want their ride as you control whether your cart flips upside down or not

The loan water ride at the park is Fyre Drill.  Hurry and put out the fires with your water cannon - but beware as you will probably get wet in the process

The show in this area is called "The Untrainable Dragon" and it features amazing puppetry

The key moment of the show is when Toothless and Hiccup fly over the crowd

It is a great show and definite must see when you visit the park

Could this be the best portal at Epic Universe?

Epic Universe - Celestial Park

 

We finally made it to Epic Universe and what an amazing day we had

The first thing we want to say about this park is that photos do not do it justice.

Even this entry gate portal is just mind blowing in person

The central area of the park is known as Celestial Park and features a few rides and several excellent restaurants.  This is the Constellation Carousel and it is a featured landmark in this area

The carousel itself is nothing like a traditional carousel.  We highly recommend riding a character inside one of the circles on the platform for a more exciting ride

There are inter-connected pools of water all over this area, making for a very beautiful atmosphere

The marquee ride of this area is Stardust Racers

This is a twin tracked launched coaster that features lots of interactions between the two tracks

The two trains diving around the massive station complex

Each track features its own personality and it is really hard to pick a "better side"

One of the more talked about restaurants in this area is Pizza Moon

The restaurant features artwork that would remind you of a past Worlds Fair

Celestial Park is even more beautiful at night and it really comes alive during the evening lights and sound show

It is really easy to just rush past all of the details that are in this area, but we highly recommend taking the time to enjoy all of the beauty
