An Old Time Christmas (SDC)

Welcome to An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City.

The main attraction, besides the lights, is Dickens Christmas Carol in the Opera House.

This is a major production that uses musical numbers.

Special effects.

and elaborate sets.

It's an extremely popular show and it is not uncommon for people to wait hours in line to see it.

Another popular show during this festival is the Frontier Fa-La-La-La-Follies at the Saloon.

They have the inside of the Saloon all decorated for the season.

The show is a lot of fun and offers some great crowd interactions.

Be careful where you choose to sit.

You might end up on stage.

A great show - get in line here early as each show fills up quickly.

The park really goes all out for this festival.

Not only is there a Christmas tree in Fire-in-the-Hole's load area.

The buildings are all outlined inside the actual ride - which reflects what the real town outside the ride looks like at night.

At the Flooded Mine, each of the prisoners dons a Santa Hat during this festival.

In Tom Sawyer's Landing, there are Santa decorations everywhere.

You can even meet the real Santa at Kringles Krossing, which is located in the Tom Sawyer's Landing area of the park.

There's the Big Guy himself.

In the Riverfront area of the park, there are lots of snowmen decorations.

In the Frisco Barn, Jingle Bell Junction has set up shop.

If you are looking for Christmas decor, this is your place.

The Red Gold Heritage Hall is the home of The Living Nativity.

This is a very well done production that features live animals and musical numbers.

The set is huge.

It's very well done.

They also have a manger scene outside in the Red Gold Plaza.

If you want, you can ride a camel and be part of the display as a "wise man"
