New Season at Worlds of Fun and there are A LOT of changes to cover.
First off let's start at Zinger. There's a new jeep at the entrance
The biggest news in the enclosure of the lift hill to help the ride run in wet conditions
Honestly it is a weird experience now. Nothing else like it. To keep it from becoming an oven they left the bottom open and there are lots of fans blowing air
We rode it three times today and we found it to be a fun addition
Definitely gives the ride and even more distinct look
Boomerang received an extended queue line this season
The ride notoriously would spill out into the midway so they added some new switch backs
They also added some new theming which looks really nice
Zulu received a new paint job and a new lighting package for 2025
MAMBA got all sorts of updates for 2025
The track was painted a vivid green
The shade structures were completed
These will come in handy during those hot KC summer days
The nose graphics were retouched/redone on both trains
They finally removed the weird divider on the exit pathway too
Fury of the Nile finally received some shade structures for the queue
Prowler received some Titan track. You can see it on the right hand side of the photo
They also redid the graphics on both trains to read Prowler again
The floral clock is receiving some maintenance
Detonator is having some issues and can only run Tower 2 right now
They had a generator powering the ride today
Timber Wolf is walled off for this season
The park is being very cryptic with why it is closed
This section of the park feels really dead right now
Peanuts characters are greeting guests in the former petting zoo area
Gold Rush is finally being used this season (and not for pizza)
The menu shows that they are serving turkey legs and pretzels here
A new car and a clock face was added to Autobahn
The Biergarten actually received some decorations this season
No show yet in the Moulin Rouge. I think this cart might be new as well
Deja Vu is sitting empty, as is the restaurant next door
SteelHawk had its sound system repaired. You get music again as you soar over the park
New line number signs at Patriot
Safety system was upgraded this off season and there is now a seat monitor screen to tell if seats are locked or not
Spinning Dragons will soon have shade coverings in the queue
Spinning Dragons was also upgraded and has a restraint lock screen
New LED marquee signs have been added around the park.

Finally, the park is nearing completion of a lighting upgrade to the parking lot lights. The new LED lights are much brighter than the old ones.
