Daredevil Daze (SF)

DAREDEVIL DAZE 2009

Welcome to Daredevil Daze 2009 at Six Flags St. Louis

We started off the day with a backstage tour of the round house

We also had a backstage photo session with Evel Knievel

It was fun being able to get different angles of the ride

After the photo session it was time for ERT on Evel Knievel

It provided a great ride like normal

Next it was time to ride Mr. Freeze

This ride is quite the blast

We knocked out a lot of the other coasters in the park next

It is always a good idea to ride Big Spin before the crowds hit

Next it was time to ride a great minetrain - River King!

We then had a backstage tour of the other two wooden coasters

The Boss is mainly out in the woods so it's hard to see in the park

Look how close we are to the train speeding by

This is a really large wooden coaster

Quite the mountain of lumber

Time for lunch

Lots of good food with good friends

The night ended with the Glow in the Park Parade.

We had a nice time at the park today

Wahoo Racers Grand Opening (SF)

The day has come - Wahoo Racer is now open at Hurricane Harbor St, Louis

Everyone is enjoying the new matracer

Going down head first is crazy fun

You catch some air on the bumps

Make sure you come to the park and check it out

Beech Bend

Welcome to Beech Bend Park

The crown jewel of the park is Kentucky Rumbler

This GCI built wooden coaster may not be the biggest

However it packs a punch and is a lot of fun

I do wish it was a tad longer, but other than that - a great ride

This death trap machine is called Looping Star

It starts off so innocent

Then the demons are unleashed and try to steal your soul

Dragon Wagon - yeah I rode it.  No shame

Wild Mouse is one of the newest coasters at the park

It spins like crazy

Let's take a look at the other rides in the park
Here's Flying Bobs

Tornado

These are really good bumper cars

Starship 3000 is a really loud (music) rotor ride

Scat 2 is a really weird ride

The have a "home-made" ride through Haunted House

Moby Dick

Tilter

Super Slide

Drop Tower

Ferris Wheel

Carousel

Sea Dragon - originally owned by Michael Jackson

It's in the middle nowhere, but if you have the chance Beech Bend is worth a stop
