You didn't think we had forgotten about you guys this week, did you?
So the big news is that the park FINALLY confirmed that the press release will be happening in August. Also, notice how there is no mention of "Wild Mountain" anymore.
Progress this week on the station was a little slow due to wet weather and an earthquake that hit about 25 miles from the park. We are speculating that the open area on the left will be the exit from the ride back to the park.
New this week is this paint test section. It looks to me that the building will be painted an "off white" - sort of what you would get if you were to "white wash" a building. This matches the color scheme of the station in the artwork that was put out awhile back.
Footers are still there between the station and TNT. Not much happened here this week.
The view from the back porch of the Culinary Arts School. Until the leaves fall, you are not going to be able to see much from here. Both a blessing (for when the ride opens) and a curse (doesn't help us photograph the progress).
Luckily, you can see stuff from inside Echo Hollow.
It doesn't look like much work was done on hanging track this week due to the wet weather.
