PROJECT 2026
We are going to start on the Wildfire side of the construction site today.
Lots of electrical tubes coming out of the ground here. We're also curious if this part of the channel (not used by the ride) will exist once this is all built
Some grading has been done here. Wonder what the orange fence is protecting
Other side now. In the foreground is the extended American Plunge tunnel. We're more interested in the growing retaining wall they are building there behind Lumbercamp Falls
Interesting how there is a "construction fence" around the opening going into the expanded tunnel to block views of riders on American Plunge
Some construction toys doing some grade work on the site
You can see the grade work is basically going on all over the site right now
Another look at where the construction toys are currently working
Now the view from over by PowderKeg. You can see they have added fill gravel behind the retaining wall they have added
The grade work is a little easier to see on this side
They seem to be chewing away at this hill
More gravel has been added here
Again a lot of gravel fill has been added behind the new retaining wall behind Lumbercamp Falls
This addition was a bit annoying. They have added a new construction fence on this side that is taller and farther from the site. So photos on this side will not be as easy to obtain
Lots of flags are appearing in this area between Wildfire and PowderKeg
Better view of this area's flag population can seen from over by Wildfire
They are adding a lot of gravel for the new BOH access road they have built
This is NOT the new access road, but instead the old one. You can see the more direct access road down at the bottom of the hill and one of the machines helping out
Here is the new access road. The old road is there to the left. The new road goes straight and on down the hill
Here is the road on the other side. Thankfully they spared Hobo Junction
Here you can see the road go on down the hill and around Outlaw Run
