Worlds of Fun - Park Update

New themed Coke signs have been installed at two locations around the park.
This is the Refresh Station in East Asia

Another sign on the Moroccan Merchant store in Africa

Another new sign - The Oasis Patio now has a permanent sign

Work continues to bring Bicentennial Square back to life

Looks like the Liberty Bell could use a haircut

A new stockade prop has appeared near the Timber Wolf exit

If you need a shaded and quiet place to relax, this might be your place

They are continuing to paint the facades in the area

Next we will focus on closed rides.
RipCord still does not have any cables.  We feel this confirms the rumors that it will be removed this off-season

SteelHawk is still closed - BUT was seen cycling today.

They have signage saying that they're getting closer to having it ready to open

The Brigade ride in Planet Snoopy looks very life-less.  The ride vehicles are currently in the former ball pit building.  There was no movement here making us wonder what's really going on

Apparently this remodel is taking longer than expected

A new store (L'atelier du Magicien) has opened in Europa

It appears to specialize in selling local art

Here you can see different trinkets for sale

There's also a couple of walls of art to purchase and they have a few prints of art behind the checkout counter

New fountain in Europa is operational

A new office scene has been added to the queue for Cyclone Sam's

A new Single Riders line has been added to Detonator in the place of the former Fast Lane entrance

Plaza Gifts has been reorganized and the checkout counters are consolidated into one location in the middle of the store

Finally, there's a FIFA viewing area next to Sand Dune Diner.

Worlds of Fun - Cosmic Coaster (Wacky Worm)

Cosmic Coaster (Wacky Worm) was quietly removed from the park the week before the 4th of July

There was no warning or "send off" - it was just quickly removed without fanfare.

Parts from the ride can be seen sitting near Timber Wolf.
The park has not commented or even acknowledged that the ride is gone

Oasis - Construction Update

The final track piece has been put into place and Dragon Run is now a complete circuit

With this installation, both rollercoasters are now in place at Oasis with several additional rides (including the ferris wheel) still to be installed.
