First up is Love at First Fright - the Final Bow.  This is the final season that this show will play at the park

This year's cast was amazing. Definitely don't miss it

The Opening Scare-monies before the Freaks arrive on the train

Once the train stops in the station, the Freaks reek havoc on everyone in the Palace Gardens

NEW this year is Blood Bank Cabaret - a one lady show

Grab a drink from the bar and enjoy this talented lady singing 

Back at the Palace Porch, the NEW Monster Mash Bash takes place in the evening

Definitely a fun show with lots of great singing and dancing

I always love the look of the front fountain with the blood water

Mid-America Adventure - Kids Boo Fest

 

 

Welcome to Mid-America Adventure's Kids Boo Fest

New this year is Gordy's Candy Trail which takes place inside the new haunted maze by American Thunder

During the day it is very cheerful and bright

This is a major contrast to how it looks at night

Flying Purple People Eater chair has returned to DC Comics Plaza

The Smashing Lanterns performs a fun Halloween Rock show in the DC Plaza

In the Empire Theater, you can see Spooky Stories with Jack

This one is definitely geared to the youngest park guests

At the Palace Porch you can participate in the Kid's Mash Bash which also features some of the Looney Tunes crew

At the Chicago Train Station, you check out the Creepy Castle and receive some yummy candy too

The McBoogles have a new home this year near Pandemonium

This short walking trail tells the story of the McBoogles going on a picnic

Along the way you will get some candy from the attendants

We miss the hayride, but this was a fun new way to show off the story

Since the Chicago Station is closed for Creepy Castle, the train is only doing complete circle rides from the St. Louis station

The spiders have been busy in this station

Along the route you will be stopped by Hops and Hootenanny for the "candy caper" - Who Stole My Candy?

Kids Boo Fest runs until 5:00pm every day that the park is open this fall
