Shows (SFSTL)

New this year in Miss Kitty's Theatre is "Keepin' Out of Mischief"

The show basically deals with the news that a new owner for the Saloon is coming in today and two cons (the two seated) were planning on robbing the Saloon.

Well all good plans come with hiccups and that's the premise of the show.

New this year in the Empire Theatre is "Sound FX"

A 4 member drumline performs to catchy songs and amazing light and fog effects

If you can only see one show at the park, this is the one you want to see

Supergirl Skyflyer - NOW OPEN (SFSTL)

The new Supergirl Skyflyer is NOW OPEN at Six Flags St. Louis

Much like at Superman: Tower of Power, Supergirl has her logo made out of concrete too.

The main marquee features a large cutout of the super hero and a light up sign.

The queue area features a nice shade structure, which will come in handy during the HOT Missouri summers.

The queue area is split into "stand by" and "Fast Pass/Handicap"  -- from here they will send the next set of riders into the holding pen which is just outside this area.

Here you can see where the grouper is located.  The holding pen for the next set of riders is just to the right of this photo.

The Supergirl shield can be found on all of the support structures for the ride.

There are 3 panels with information on Supergirl in the queue area.

This particular model of the Endeavor features single seating, whereas previous park models have double seating.

The harnesses are automatic, so don't try to put them down yourself.

This ride should look amazing at night with the amount of LED lights that can be found on the ride.  Let's hope SFSTL actually maintains them.

The ride begins by lifting the wheel up before your really start spinning.

It doesn't take long for the hydraulic lift to get you vertical.

The ride really pulls some Gs.  So we don't recommend riding right after eating.

It really whips you around.

It doesn't seem like you stay vertical very long, but that might be for the best.

It is a fun ride and a worthy replacement for the Highland Fling.  Be sure to check it out, the next time you are at the park

Opening Weekend (HHSTL)

Welcome to Opening Weekend at Hurricane Harbor St. Louis

The park is completely slammed today.  Huge crowds.

This is Castaway Creek, the park's lazy river.

This group of raft slides features 4 different adventures.  Two are completely enclosed and the other two are more open.

Big Kahuna is the park's family raft slide.

Castaway Creek is visible throughout most of the park

Something appears to be missing at Hook's Lagoon.  Hopefully the big bucket makes its way back soon.

Typhoon Twister opened with the park this year.  Hopefully it has a better season than last.

The unique combination of the bowl and wave turn makes it a unique attraction.

The king of Hurricane Harbor is still Tornado.

Hurricane Bay was very popular today

Wahoo Racers is still a very popular slide at the park

Bonzai Pipelines is the final slide complex at the park.  This pair of drop capsule body slides will get the adrenaline going.  Hurricane Harbor is now open daily for the summer season.

Eli / Worlds of Fun Railroad (WOF)

We are getting closer to having Eli / Worlds of Fun Railroad back in operation.

He has arrived back at the park and has been doing test laps here lately around the route.

It's hard to see him, but he's there in his bedroom.  We cannot wait to hear him chugging around the tracks again soon at the park.

World & Oceans Update (WOF/OOF)

The Torri Gate is now complete at the entrance to the Orient section

The new grass at Spinning Dragons looks great.  In the past, this area was just a bed of wood chips

A new sign listing the offerings at Cotton Blossom BBQ

The outdoor area at Cotton Blossom BBQ is a new Coca-Cola Refresh Station

A new game - Mario's Mystery Box has opened near Detonator.  You pick a box and the number inside corresponds to a type of prize, which appear to all be Super Mario Bros themed.

Forum Road is back open to foot traffic.

The new shade structures turned out nice

Maybe eventually they can get ivy to grow on it.

A new topiary has appeared near Prospectors.  It appears to be a burro

Some palms were added to the Africa sign near Moroccan Merchant

Scandi Candies is still not open, even though the signs advertised a May opening.

A new snack stand, Scandi Snacks has opened near Nordic Chaser

Something is missing here - the Fury sign has been removed from the train bridge near the Oasis.

New Egyptian themed columns have appeared on this same bridge.

The new sound booth for the stage in International Plaza appears to be close to completion

I'm sure this will help the production value of the shows presented here.

Finally, over in Oceans, the new Paradise Pizza has opened near the wave pool.
