Lost Mine Mountain Coaster

 

Our next mountain coaster of the night is the newest in Pigeon Forge - Lost Mine

This course features 4 lifts and a heavily themed course

We rode this coaster a couple times in the Spring, but never at night

The lights at night really make the place come alive

Love how they decorated the Ghost Town for Christmas at the very top of the course

This is such a great ride.  Very rarely is there a long line (unlike Rocky Top)

Rocky Top Mountain Coaster

 

It had been awhile since we had visited Rocky Top, so we decided to remedy that

While waiting in the queue you are serenaded by these three reindeer

This mountain coaster features 4 lifts and lots of fun swoops and curves

All right, let's do this

The lights really add to the already fun ride

The lighting effects in the tunnel was awesome

This is definitely one of our favorite mountain coasters in the area and definitely worth a stop

Worlds of Fun Park Update

Time to check in on Worlds of Fun

If you have not heard, MAMBA is sporting a new chartreuse paint scheme

After being magenta its entire life, the change to this shade of green is quite jarring

It appears that they have completed painting the track for the ride

While different, we definitely appreciate MAMBA getting some love
