Oasis - Construction Update

We stopped by Oasis to get an updated on the construction.
First off, here is the staging area.  It is really empty now that the coasters have been built

This is peninsula 2.  Here you can see that the hotel and indoor waterpark have begun vertical construction.  Fun fact about the waterpark, it will have a retractable roof so that it can open during the summer months

This is the parking garage, which will be utilized by the park, hotel and waterpark

According to the owners, there will be no charge to park here

The real question regarding the garage is how will the flow of traffic be handled

Right now, this two lane highway is pretty "sleepy" as it only services Dog Days at this time.  Once Oasis opens, that will really change

Looking over at peninsula 1 now or the park peninsula.
The top level of the park has had new restaurant/retail buildings added

The first building that was installed is now about closed in so that they can frame out the insides

The structure that is closest to the road will be the loading/retail area for the Ferris Wheel

The owners stated in an interview that the wheel will be going vertical this month and will be the next ride installed at the park

Hard to see the lower levels of the park from over here, so let's swing around to the other side

Now over by the Grand Glaze Bridge, you can see an overview of the lower levels of the park

The yellow coaster is Dragon Run - a family suspended coaster from Vekoma.
Also want to point out on the top level you can see on the left side of the photo another building going up

Here you can see the blue track of Shootout - Vekoma Rebound Family Boomerang, the long wings of Propeller - a skyscraper ride, and Plunge - a drop tower

Zooming out to get an overview of the bottom two levels, you can now see Slingshot's massive two arms right at the point of peninsula 1

Lastly - one final look at peninsula 2 and you can see the motel and waterpark rising.  The waterpark will be on this side of the motel.
