Something is happening behind the Firehouse in Fireman's Landing

Rumors state that this is the location of the next big project for the park

Looks like they are currently working on moving utilities.

Carr Excavation provided us with these behind the scene views of the action

Pumpkin in the City (SDC)

 

The royalty officially declare that Pumpkins in the City is now OPEN!

Harvest Festival - Food (SDC)

 

The Passport costs $30 + tax for park guests.  Season passholders get 10% off and Gold passholders get 20 % the price.  Once purchased you can get 5 tastings from the list of options on the back.  We are going to show you our selections from today

CARAMEL APPLE SHAKE

Thoughts: The drink is tasty, but it is served with a paper straw that is not capable of handling the workload.  On top of that, the apple chunks at the bottom of the drink are quite large

Thoughts: Very tasty sandwich.  I liked the addition of the Pumpkin BBQ Sauce.  It wasn't overly pumpkin flavored but enough to let you know it was there.

Flossie's Fried Fancies

Thoughts: The corndog seemed like a normal corndog to me.  It was good though.  I liked the fries.  The marshmallow fluff was a nice addition to the meal.

Dockside Grill

Thoughts: Not my favorite dish today,  The pork was good.  the potatoes were overcooked.  Then the tomatoes were not for me.  Wish I would have tried something else instead

Thoughts: This was delicious.  The tasting was bigger than I was expecting.  Definitely a yum
