Time Traveler Construction (SDC)

Today we are going to take a closer look at the station and maintenance bay area for Time Traveler.  Here you can see all of the large windows which guests will be able to look through while queuing for the ride.

This is the track inside the station where the trains will load/unload.

This is the top level of the maintenance bay area.

Looking up from the lower level of the maintenance bay.

We are now in the queue area for the ride.  This is the level just below the loading area.

This is the ground level of the queuing area.

After navigating the switch backs on the lower level you will transverse up those stairs to the next level where you will encounter more switch backs.

While waiting you will be able to look out the windows to see the ride.

Really like the amount of natural light the building has.

Looking up the queue path.

You can see some new fencing that has been installed for the Trailblazer path.

Time Traveler Construction (SDC)

As part of the ACE Coaster Christmas event, attendees were offered a "behind the scenes tour" of the new Time Traveler station

It appears that the evacuation cat-walk on the final approach to the station is now complete.

Last time we were in this station, we could actually stand out in a window box where this track is located.  Obviously that cool feature had to be removed.

Here is the exit of the track from the station.

The first drop is still extremely impressive.  You can see that they have added several retaining walls since our last time out on this perch.

Another angle of the drop - this time you can see some of the rest of the track.

You can see most of the inversions of the ride in this shot.

Another look at the interlocking inversions.

The two launch sections of the ride.

Just in case you forgot what the layout of the ride looked like.

Attendees were able to walk over the track in the station.

There was also an EXTREME "behind the scenes" tour which took attendees out under the track.

This is inside the power station which will provide the electricity to the two launches.

Some of the schematics laying out on one of the tables inside the power station.

Speaking of the launch tracks - here they are.

I think it is pretty cool how most of the layout is down in the valley.

Overbanked curve and one of the launches

Attendees were able to get up close and personal with the track.

Thanks to SDC for providing such a neat experience and
thanks to ACE for providing the photos for this update.

Bernie's Barnyard - New for 2018 (Adventureland)

Thanks to Ride Entertainment, a firm that sells amusement rides for several different companies, we now know what the two rides coming to the new area will be.

The first attraction is named Junior Jockeys and will be a Pony Trek from Metallbau Emmeln.

The second attraction is called Shakin' Bacon and is a themed Crazy Couch by Skyline Attractions.

Both look like they will quality additions to the park which help beef up the kiddie ride line up.

Christmas in Midtown Testing (SDC)

Some more preview photos from the area.  Here is one of the main entrances

Each entrance has a different treatment.  This one is an ornament.

This is the entrance by Bears in the Hollow near the Depot.

The spinning globe in the middle of the area.

Looking up at the globe from pretty much right underneath.

This tree definitely has a "Frozen" feel to it.  You can also see the light tunnel that is on the bridge of Corkscrew Pass.

The red lighted spheres with Santa's sleigh peeking through.

One final look at the area by Sullivan's Mill.

Really like the Coke Santa sign.

You can see the carousel with the train on it here.
