Welcome to Six Flags St. Louis
It's OPENING DAY at the Gateway to Thrills
To beat the lines later in the day, we first hiked up to Catwoman Whip.
This is definitely one of our favorite rides in the park
Next we went next door to the classic Screamin' Eagle
Working our way down the mountain, next was The Joker - which will be celebrating its first FULL operational year, since it did not open until Fright Fest last season
Next door is Rookie Racer, which is honestly one of our favorite steel kiddie coasters out there
The Boss was next and even though it received a lot of work this off season, it still needs a lot more work done before it is a "comfortable ride"
Took advantage of a very short line and got a spin on Pandemonium
Justice League was down the entire day. Not a great plan for the only indoor ride to be closed on a day that kept threatening to rain
The superior Mr. Freeze was running great today
American Thunder is still the smoothest wooden coaster at the park, but that's not really saying much
Batman was being extra moody today, luckily we got in a ride before it shut down for the rest of the day
Ninja still exists.
Minetrain received a higher height minimum this offseason. It will be interesting to see what that does to the lines
SkyScreamer is just a fun ride that takes you up and lets you look down on all of the former attraction areas and things left to rot in the bone yard
