Our next portal is The Ministry of Magic or "Harry Potter Paris"
Photos are not going to do the scale of this area justice
Stepping into Paris now
While certain other areas of the park feel claustrophobic, this area is nice and open which is so much better and allows you to actually breathe
Much like the other two HP areas in the other parks, there are wand stations here as well. This one was fun as you light the bottom cauldron and worked the heat up to the top to make it spring some water
An unsavory part of town, but apparently there's a large restaurant back here
Looking down towards the entrance to the lone ride (for now) in the area
To enter the ride, you have to use the Metrofloo station
See? Metrofloo
Marquee for the ride
So you enter a fireplace and by the magic of floo powder you are whisked away to the British Ministry of Magic (yes ignore that we were just in Paris - I don't understand that either)
Exiting the fireplace you enter the huge atrium of the British Ministry of Magic.
Photos don't even begin to do the scale of this place justice
On your journey to the ride platform you will navigate one of the most impressive queue lines ever constructed
We rode three times and saw new things every time we waited in line
This cleaning machine was fun to watch.
The Longbottoms make an appearance in the queue
As does Alastor "Mad Eye" Mooney
The Auror Office
Hallways of the Ministry - and some disgusting pink tile which leads to...
Delores Umbridge's office which is being packed up by her house elf
The ride itself is very interesting and fun to ride.
We found the ride experience to be much more enjoyable than Forbidden Journey but the story itself is a little hard to follow
One of the best things in the area is the abundance of characters. Here we have exchange students enjoying a day out in Paris
There is plenty of entertainment here as well, including this street troupe
The main show however is Cirque Arcanus
The show begins with typical "Cirque" style acts with a "wizard twist"
Also, you cannot forget about "pocket bubbles"
Later in the show we get to meet several "Fantastic Beasts"
It really is an interesting show with amazing puppetry
Back outside, we just really enjoy this land.
Here is the entrance to Cirque Arcanus
Make sure you take time to look in the different store windows - you never know what you'll find
Again how awesome is this entry arc?
The area is even more beautiful at night
We cannot wait for them to get the second ride built for the area
Again... what a great area of the park
