Sea World San Antonio - Rides

Welcome to Sea World San Antonio

A new coaster since our last visit is Beach Rescue Racer.
Don't let the cute little train fool you, this coaster packs a punch.

New this season is Barracuda Strike

This is the longest, tallest and fastest B&M family inverted yet in the States

Diving down into the "rock work" really adds to the ride experience

Towering over the park is the "OG" coaster to the park - Steel Eel

This coaster is unrivaled in violent ejector airtime

Now would be a good time to point out that the new Barracuda Strike actually threads itself through the Steel Eel lift hill.  Adds to the excitement.

Wave Breaker is the park's straddle coaster and it is definitely one of the more popular coasters in the park as it demands long lines every time we visit

Also new since our last visit is Catapult Falls

It starts as a fun little log flume, but then there is a launch (you see in the background)

An elevator lift to a final drop

Where there is a floater hill

and then a final splash down

The Great White is down right now

Here's the reason - a company is repainting the track

Now for the best best wooden rollercoaster in Texas - Texas Stingray

Crazy how few woodern coasters there are in Texas

It would probably still be the best even if there were more than... two?

I think this might be the first time I have ever seen this ride operational

The tiny frisbee pales in comparion to the bigger one we rode yesterday

Tidal Surge might be my favorite ride here.  Love the side that looks down on the Lake

Rio Loco.  The best part is that it goes under Texas Stingray

This is probably the weakest of the Atlantis rides at Sea World parks, but this middle dip with the two turntables is still very unique

It has a great splash down
