World Update (WOF)

 

The painting refresh is continuing around the park and has now made it to Africa

The Africa section is looking great with this paint refresh

Zulu is still down.  We hope it returns

We missed this new landscaping at Gateway Pizza Plaza on Monday but it looks great

They have also added these boxes at the edge of the plaza

Railing has been installed inside Gateway Pizza since last Monday

The new marquee for All American Shake Shoppe has been installed

They have really ramped up the removal process of both Chamber of Horrors and Peter Peter to make room for the new Zambezi Zinger.  Yes that is King Kong standing there

Large props from Peter Peter are being staged near Monsoon

Most of these should be used in the new location for this season's Haunt

The building for Chamber of Horrors is being removed

All of the siding and roof panels have been taken off exposing the support structure

They are taking it down really carefully which makes us wonder if it will be reused in a new location 

Zambezi Zinger (WOF)

 

The park is going all out with advertising for the new Zambezi Zinger

Lots of season pass renewals signs all over the park

They have hung up a huge banner for Zambezi Zinger on the old Dinosaurs Alive arch

They have also put up the new marquee for Zambezi Zinger on the old Zinger queue building

There's lots of new Zinger merchandise in Moroccan Merchant

Let's take a look at the construction that's occurring for Zambezi Zinger

They're much further along on this side of the tracks

Looks like they are clearing out the old Chamber of Horrors haunt building

We will back in a few days, we imagine that it will look a lot different by then

Let's take a look at the progress of Gateway Pizza now that the fence is down.  Really liking the new logo marquee above the door

Here's the dining plaza.  It looks really open right now

The plaza gives great views of the Viking Voyager

Looking inside they still have some work to do

Not a big surprise, but Falcon's Flight is still down

Some weird markings on the concrete in Europa near Dutchman

The Mamba steps have been repaired and are back open
