Welcome to Elitch Gardens in downtown Denver
Pretty nice carousel
Main Street for the park
Nice photo spot here at the end of Main Street with the Ferris Wheel as a backdrop
Twister III Storm Chaser was our first coaster of the day
Not a bad ride, but definitely rougher than it needs to be
Tower of Doom is the park's drop tower ride
Brain Drain is a fitting name for a Larson Loop because seriously why would you willing ride one of these rides
We rode Minderaser once for the credit. Horrible ride
Meow Wolf has a ride here at the park called Kaledioscope
It appears to be a continuation from their permanent exhibit just down the road
It is a very trippy ride and you can tell that it is using a former "Boo Blasters" ride system
Blazin' Buckaroo was the kiddie coaster and yes we rode it
Disaster Canyon is the rapids ride
We were actually shocked to see this ride open today.
Half Pipe was actually a lot of fun.
Shipwreck Falls creating a huge wave
Boomerang was actually very good. I think it has newer trains but it rode very well
Star Flyer was an interesting version of the tall swing rides. Never seen one like this before
Tilt-A-Whirl
Sea Dragon
Spider
Hollywood and Vine - I didn't get the name either
Sidewinder - old school Arrow shuttle
Final thoughts, Elitch Gardens gets a lot of unnecessary hate from the enthusiasts, but we had a decent time at the park. Do we have any need to visit again in the near future? No.
