Forbidden Journey - Islands of Adventure

No visit to Hogsmeade is complete without a visit to Hogwarts Castle, the home to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

The queue for Forbidden Journey is just as much of an experience as the attraction itself

You start out in the greenhouses where you can see Mandrakes potted in a secured pin

Once you enter the actual castle, you are greeted with a statue called the "Architect"

The current House Cup standings.  As a Ravenclaw I disagree with the current standings

The Hall of Portraits features all four of the founders.  This is Godric Gryffindor

Helga Hufflepuff in the larger portrait

Rowena Ravenclaw.  Salazar Slytherin is just to the right

Inside the Headmasters Office

This is Dumbledore's pensieve

Portraits of former Headmasters

Dumbledore greeting the castle guests

Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom

Harry, Ron and Hermione explaining to the guests what they can expect soon

The Sorting Hat giving last minute instructions before you board your flying bench in the Great Hall for your Forbidden Journey ride

Even with all of the new additions to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, this is still the "king" of the attractions

I absolutely love this area.  This is literally THE reason I come to Orlando
