Rivertown Smokehouse (SDC)

Major progress has been made on the new Rivertown Smokehouse

The first thing you'll notice is that it is much bigger than the old location.  This also appears to be the main entrance to the building

Peeking over the fence you can see the design of the windows for the building

Looking inside, you can see that they are starting to frame up the building.  It appears that some of the Back of House areas area already framed up

We're probably looking right at where the serving area will be located.  It will be fun to compare this photo to the end results later on in the build

From the back you can see the framing for the roof facade is going in place.  The HVAC units for the building will be placed on the flat portion of the roof behind the new framing.

Another look at the back of the new building.  You can also get an idea of where the new load station for the new water attraction will be located in relation to the new Ribhouse.

The new dining patio area received some rock treatment along the new cement retaining walls

Here is a better look at the rock treatment.  It will be interesting to see if that is continued along the remainder of the cement walls.

On the other side of the Lake you can see the dining patio continues to expand.  Here you can see a new electrical box has been installed.  It will be interesting to see if this is just for the area or if it will power a new food stand.

More details emerging at the dining patio.

One final look at the back of the Smokehouse.  With how quickly they progressed on this project since our last visit, we imagine that the roof will be completed and siding going up when we return
